Rules of Play for 50/50 Raffle:

1. The lottery will take place online from 10 a.m. Monday, March 9^th, 2026, to Friday, April 17^th, 2026, at noon.

2. All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years of age or older.

3. Ticket buyers must be physically in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.

4. Tickets are $10 for 20, $25 for 150, $40 for 350, $75 for 750, or $90 for 999.

5. Tickets will be sold online only at guelphhumane.ca/lottery. Online purchases can be made by credit card only.

6. Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by Bump Worldwide Inc.

7. After buying online, patrons will receive a confirmation e-mail with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.

8. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.

9. The amount of the 50/50 will be shown on guelphhumane.ca/lottery.

10. The winning number will be announced on guelphhumane.ca/lottery. by email, and on social media.

11. The winner may claim their prize by contacting the Guelph Humane Society Inc. at: (519) 824-3091, or by email at: give@guelphhumane.ca. The winnings must be claimed by the individual named in the original purchase transaction. Proof of the online winning ticket may then be brought to the Guelph Humane Society at 190 Hanlon Creek Blvd at an agreed upon time for ticket and identity verification. The winner will then be paid by electronic funds transfer for the amount posted at the event for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original winning virtual ticket and no copies. All Early Bird and Grand Prize payments will be issued by electronic funds transfer in Canadian funds.

12. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for.

13. The winner must provide their name, address, and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.

14. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, GHS will send an electronic bank transfer in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that draw. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.

15. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning ticket number will be kept in a safe and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed, the prize will be donated to a charity other than Guelph Humane Society Inc, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

16. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws: Guelph Humane Society staff and Board of Directors, as well as their spouses, children, and children-in-law are not permitted to purchase tickets and are not eligible to win.

17. The lottery will take place online from 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 9th, 2026, to Friday, April 17th, 2026, at 12:00pm.

All early bird tickets, including winners, will be put back in the drum to be eligible for subsequent Early Bird Draws and the Grand Prize Draw. All tickets purchased between 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 9^th, 2026, to 11:59 p.m. Thursday, March 12^th, 2026, will be entered into the Early Bird Draw #1 of $500. Tickets will go back in to also be eligible for Early Bird Draw 2 of $1,000, Early Bird Draw 3 of $500, Early Bird Draw 4 of $500, Early Bird Draw 5 of $500, Early Bird Draw 6 of $500, and the Grand Prize Draw.

18. The draw for the $500 Early Bird #1 will take place online on Friday, March 13th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

19. All tickets purchased between 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 9^th, 2026, to 10:00 a.m. Tuesday March 17th, 2025, will be entered into the Early Bird Draw #2 of $1,000. Tickets will go back in to also be eligible for Early Bird Draw 3 of $500, Early Bird Draw 4 of $500, Early Bird Draw 5 of $500, Early Bird Draw 6 of $500, and the Grand Prize Draw.

20. The draw for the Bonus St Patrick’s Day Early Bird #2 will take place online on Tuesday, March 17th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

21. All tickets purchased between 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 9^th, 2026, to 11:59 p.m. Thursday, March 19^th, 2026, will be entered into the Early Bird Draw #3 of $500. Tickets will go back in to also be eligible for Early Bird Draw 4 of $500, Early Bird Draw 5 of $500, Early Bird Draw 6 of $500, and the Grand Prize Draw.

22. The draw for Early Bird #3 will take place online on Friday, March 20^th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

23. All tickets purchased between 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 9^th, 2026, to 11:59 p.m. Thursday, March 26^th, 2026, will be entered into the Early Bird Draw #4 of $500. Tickets will go back in to also be eligible for Early Bird Draw 5 of $500, Early Bird Draw 6 of $500, and the Grand Prize Draw.

24. The draw for Early Bird #4 will take place online on Friday, March 27^th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

25. All tickets purchased between 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 9^th, 2026, to 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, April 1^st, 2026, will be entered into the Early Bird Draw #5 of $500. Tickets will go back in to also be eligible for, Early Bird Draw 6 of $500, and the Grand Prize Draw.

26. The draw for Early Bird #5 will take place online on Thursday, April 2^nd, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

27. All tickets purchased between 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 9^th, 2026, to 11:59 p.m. Thursday, April 9^th, 2026, will be entered into the Early Bird Draw #6 of $500. Tickets will go back in to also be eligible for the Grand Prize Draw.

28. The draw for Early Bird #6 will take place online on Friday, April 10^th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

29. All tickets purchased between 10:00 a.m. Tuesday April 1st, 2025, to noon Friday, April 17th, 2026, will be entered into the Grand Prize. It is possible for the same number to win any of the early bird prizes and the grand prize.

30. The draw for the Grand Prize will take place online on Friday, April 17th at 12:00 p.m.

31. The Grand Prize Draw will have a guaranteed minimum prize of $5,000.

32. When the ticket sales exceed $10,000, the grand prize will be half of the sales.

33. Lottery tickets are NOT eligible for charitable tax receipts.

34. Lottery tickets cannot be transferred or resold to another party.
